BTS to break the record for the most number of countries in Korea with 300 million views on music video


The music video of "Poetry for the Small Things" by BTS has surpassed 300 million views.
The music video for "Poetry for the Small Things," the title track of BTS' new album "Map of the Sol: Persona," released on April 12, exceeded 300 million YouTube views at 12:47 p.m. on Wednesday, according to its agency Big Hit Entertainment.


As a result, BTS has the 10th 300 million-view music video of its career, breaking the record for the most Korean singers on its own.
The music video for "Poetry for the Small Things" surpassed 74.6 million YouTube views in 24 hours of release, setting new records in three categories: "The 24-hour most watched YouTube video," "The 24-hour most watched YouTube music video" and "The 24-hour most watched music video among K-pop groups." In just 37 hours and 37 minutes, it also achieved 100 million views, the shortest time in the world in YouTube history.


The pop punk genre "Poetry for the Small Things" was featured by American pop star Halsey, 25. Halsey was also on the music video.
The music video was praised for its colorful and sophisticated features and looks like a musical movie.


Meanwhile, BTS has music videos of 700 million views of "DNA," 500 million views of "Fire" and "Pake Love."
